Band, Trim, Round, and Groove in one single pass. The HYG HE-468PRG is the ultimate “All-in-One” solution for wardrobe and cabinet manufacturers. By integrating a specialized Bottom Grooving Unit into the workflow, this machine eliminates the need for a separate slotting station, saving floor space and labor.

Built on our longest 7100mm industrial chassis, the HE-468PRG handles the complete edge finishing process—from Pre-milling defects to Corner Rounding for safety, and finally Grooving for back panels—delivering a ready-to-assemble component instantly.

1. Integrated Bottom Grooving Station

The standout feature of the HE-468PRG is the addition of a high-speed grooving saw after the scraping unit.

  • Application: It creates a precise slot along the bottom edge of the panel. This is essential for inserting back panels in wardrobes, drawer bottoms, or installing hidden LED light strips in modern cabinetry.

  • Efficiency: Instead of moving heavy panels to a CNC router or table saw for slotting, the HE-468PRG does it automatically during the banding cycle.

Adding a grooving saw plus dual pre-milling motors requires immense energy. We engineered the HE-468PRG with a Total Power of 21 KW.

The Optimized 9-Stage Workflow

  2. Gluing & Pressing: Applies adhesive and presses the tape.

  3. End Cutting: Precision flush cuts (Front/Rear).

  4. Rough Trimming: Removes heavy tape excess.

  5. Fine Trimming: Creates the edge radius.

  6. Chamfering (Corner Rounding): Rounds vertical corners.

  7. Bottom Grooving (The Upgrade): Cuts the back panel/LED slot (Sequence Updated).

  8. Scraping: Smooths the PVC surface and removes any potential debris from grooving (Sequence Updated).

  9. Buffing: Final polish for a high-gloss finish.
