This 6-Function Automatic Edge Bander adds a dedicated Rough Trimming Unit to the standard workflow. By removing the bulk of the excess edge material before the fine finishing stage, the HE-468 guarantees a smoother curve, extends the life of your fine trimming blades, and supports high-speed production up to 23m/min without vibration.

1. Gluing & Pressing: Powerful pneumatic rollers ensure tight adhesion for 0.4-3mm tapes.

3. Rough Trimming (The Upgrade): Uses flat cutters to rapidly remove the heavy excess margin of thick tapes. This is critical for protecting the subsequent fine cutters.

4. Fine Trimming: Radiused cutters create the perfect smooth round-over or chamfer.

5. Scraping: Removes knife marks for a flawless surface.

6. Buffing: Restores the edge color and shine using adjustable polishing motors.

FAQ: HE-465 vs. HE-468

Do I really need “Rough Trimming”?

• Choose HE-465 (5-Function): If you primarily use thin tapes (0.4mm – 1mm). Rough trimming is not strictly necessary for thin PVC.

• Choose HE-468 (6-Function): If you use 2mm or thicker edge bands. Trying to trim 3mm of hard PVC in one go (with just fine trimming) causes vibration and rapid blade dulling. The HE-468’s Rough Trim stage solves this, giving you a better finish and lower tooling costs.

Can it handle glue residue?

Yes. Like our other premium models, the HE-468 includes an optional glue spray cleaning system. This sprays a release agent before the buffing stage to ensure panels come off the line clean and glue-free.
