Automatic Bevel and Straight Integrated Edge Banding Machine (Model HE-768)

Perfecting both the Angle and the Vertical Edge. The HYG HE-768 takes handle-less door production to the next level. Unlike entry-level bevel machines that focus primarily on the slope, this Integrated Edge Bander dedicates equal precision to the straight edge section of the profile.

Built on a robust 7100mm chassis, the HE-768 features an advanced Six-Wheel Pressing System and distinct trimming stations for both geometry faces. This ensures that complex “Shark Nose” or “Finger Pull” profiles are not just shaped, but finished to a furniture-grade standard on every millimeter of the edge.


Advanced Technologies for J-Pull Profiles

1. Six-Wheel “Bevel + Straight” Pressing

The most critical challenge in bevel banding is adhesion at the fold. The HE-768 solves this with a specialized Six-Wheel Pressing Unit.

  • Simultaneous Pressure: Unlike standard rollers, this unit engages Bevel Pressure Wheels and Straight Pressure Wheels at the same time within the same device.

  • The Benefit: It forces the edge band to conform tightly to both the 45° slope and the straight vertical lip simultaneously, eliminating air gaps and ensuring a bond that lasts for decades.

2. Automatic Tape Grooving (Anti-Crack)

Folding a stiff edge band requires precision. The machine includes a Tape Grooving Device before the gluing station.

  • Function: It precisely scores the back of the PVC/Acrylic tape at the folding point. This allows the band to bend effortlessly around the sharp angle, preventing the common issues of “whitening” (stress marks) or edge cracking.

3. Dual Trimming & Scraping Stations

The HE-768 separates the finishing process for maximum quality:

  • Straight Trimming & Scraping: Dedicated units clean and radius the vertical edge.

  • Bevel Trimming & Scraping: Separate units specifically target the angled face.

  • Result: A fully finished profile where the transition between the slope and the straight edge is seamless and smooth to the touch.

4. Industrial Powerhouse (24.25 KW)

Processing complex shapes at speed requires immense stability. The HE-768 is equipped with a Total Power of 24.25 KW. This drives the forming motors and the 16-step workflow consistently at speeds up to 18 m/min, significantly faster than standard bevel machines.


The Complete 16-Step Integrated Workflow

The HE-768 leaves no surface untouched:

  1. Bevel Forming: Mills the board edge to shape.

  2. Bevel Gluing: Applies glue to the slope.

  3. Heating Lamp 1: Preheats the slope.

  4. Side Grooving: Scores the tape for folding.

  5. Straight Gluing: Applies glue to the vertical edge.

  6. Heating Lamp 2: Preheats the straight edge.

  7. Bevel Edge Pressing: Applies pressure to the angle.

  8. Straight Edge Pressing: Applies pressure to the vertical.

    (Note: Step 7 & 8 work in tandem via the 6-wheel system)

  9. Straight Edge Trimming: Refines the vertical lip.

  10. Bevel Edge Trimming: Refines the angled slope.

  11. End Cutting: Flush cuts front/rear.

  12. Bevel Edge Scraping: Smooths the slope.

  13. Straight Edge Scraping: Smooths the vertical lip.

  14. Cleaning: Removes residue.

  15. Buffing 1: Initial polish.

  16. Buffing 2: Final high-gloss finish.
